Vail as a winter wonderland

Colorado is arguably the most beautiful state in the USA. Vail is a small village in the north west corner of Colorado. This village is mainly famous for its wide stretched range of ski slopes. I have visited Vail in summer and winter both. I could go back there in every season to enjoy its divine beauty.

I stayed in the Highline Vail – a Doubletree by Hilton during the winter and Evergreen Lodge during my summer visit. I would recommend both of them depending on your budget. Vail has a wide variety of lodging options to offer in terms of amenities and price.

This village is very safe for anyone and has an extremely friendly vibe. Ohh, and it's a foodies heaven! I would strongly recommend Sweet Basil and Terra Bistro in the Vail village and Mirabelle in Beaver Creek for the upscale restaurants. Mirabelle has Belgian cuisine and is my favorite. Westside is the best breakfast place in the village with awesome ambience. Then there's Vail's original Swiss dog from Blu Cow. There are innumerable good food joints spread across the Vail village and surrounding area.

I always wanted to try skiing and snowboarding. This time I tried it in Vail. They offer professional help for beginners which helped me eliminate my initial learning hurdles and get into actually enjoying the sport.
