Oh, Italy.
I have wanted to meet you for more years than I care to count. And though our encounter was brief, I feel that we really connected. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say…I think I love you.
I finally fulfilled one of my solo travel dreams on a trip to Lombardy in September. I was based in Milan, which was great, but it also turned out to be a perfect spot to be situated for day trips outside the city. Coming from Canada, it was amazing to have access to so many trains, which made travel around the Lombardy region quick and easy.
I will have more stories from my trip in the coming months, but first, here is a taste of Lombardy, in photos.

This trip is part of the #BlogVille campaign, created and managed by iambassador in partnership with Lombardy Tourism. All stories, impressions, and experiences will be my own, as they always are on Solo Traveler.
